BIRD'S NEST JAZZ at WATERPARK LOFTS (2875 Glascock Street #109, Oakland, CA - 510-534-6163) presents jazz in an intimate setting the last Sunday of the month from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Seating is first come, first served. On Sunday, May 31st, the club will present Larry Smith. Joining hin on stage will be John R. Burr, Piano; Ron Belcher, Bass; and Bob Blankenship, Drums. Larry's rich mahogany voice will stir your soul and melt your cares. A singer of great feeling and depth - with no fear of going to his impish side - anything can happen and usually does - and judging from the sold out shows - the audience loves every minute of it! $25 suggested donation includes food & beverage.
