NYC: MARGOH! CHANNING WITH 'I DREAM OF MAN-EE'

MargOH! Channing, 2014 MAC Award Nominee (Characterization/ Drag Performer), and MAN-ee Champagne have been collaborating for over 20 years! They are going to celebrate their 20th at DIXON PLACE (161A Chrystie Street, NYC - 212-219-0736) on Friday, July 18th at 7:30 pm. They created a highly popular TV Show "The MargOH! Channing Show" on MNN (2003-2006). In 2007 they started producing live cabaret and theater pieces that include Mama MargOH!'s All Soul Burlesque Revue (Don Hills) the critically acclaimed MargOH! Channing is Tipsy (Dixon Place) and the MAC Award nominated show MargOH! Sings The Booze (Dixon Place and Duplex). You can also find them performing at various burlesque shows and cabarets throughout New York on a monthly basis. They'll be performing their classic hits like "I'm Not a Drunk" and "MargOH! On the Rocks" plus all new material. It'll be a gay ole time! I Dream of MAN-ee will also be welcoming special guests Dorothy Bishop straight from her Dozen Diva's show and the fabulous song styling's of Jason Morris (Metropolitan Room) and a couple of surprise guests. The duo will be taking their show on the road to perform at the 2014 Edinburgh Fringe Festival in July. NYC: MARCUS SIMEONE MAKES CUTTING ROOM DEBUT

Multi- award winner Marcus Simeone will make his CUTTING ROOM (44 East 32nd Street, NYC - 212-691-1900) debut on Friday, July 18th at 10:00 pm. He will perform an updated version of his show, "Everything Must Change ... " His special guest will be Carolyn Montgomery-Forant. Musical director is Barry Levitt, joined by John Miller (bass), John Miller (drums) and Larry Saltzman (guitar). Marcus will also include songs from his fourth Miranda Music CD, "The Truth About ..." as well as originals and unique duets with Carolyn Montgomery. NYC: "TIME TO START LIVING – A NEW YORK LOVE STORY"

David B. Martin brings his show "Time to start Living – A New York Love Story" toTHE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE(61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Friday, July 18th at 7:00 pm. The show is sub-titled: How I met my wife the love of my life! Musical director is Stephen Cornine and Scott Coulter serves as Artistic Director. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.



NYC: THE RESCIGNOS: THE 30TH ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL

Robbie and Paul Rescigno celebrate 30 years together as twins at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Friday, July 18th at 9:30 pm. In this brand new episode, the sweater-vested heroes mark the occasion with new music, new jokes, and new ... well, recently washed vests. There is a $10 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: MURRAY HILL & THE RIMSHOTS AT THE BEECHMAN

New York's superstar comedian and international entertainment phenomenon Mr. Murray Hill will appear at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) on Friday, July 18th at 10:00 pm! This fabulous star of stage, television, music videos, laptops, bingo halls and big screens has dazzled audiences the world over with his unique brand of interactive humor and old school showbiz. Now he brings his infamous "act," MURRAY HILL & THE RIMSHOTS, a one-man comedy explosion with a swinging band to Times Square. MURRAY HILL & THE RIMSHOTS will feature Hill's trademark blend of hammy Borscht Belt humor, irreverent monologues, joint-popping slapstick, so-bad-it's-gotta-be-good crooning, and freewheeling ad-libbing. Hill is accompanied by a 4-piece band. There is a $20 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.

NYC: LAUREN STANFORD MAKES SOLO CABARET DEBUT

2013 MetroStar winner and Kansas native, Lauren Stanford, makes her solo cabaret debut at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) with her show "I'm a Stranger Here Myself" on Friday, July 18th at 7:00 pm. Directed by Eric Michael Gillett, the piece explores New York City and why it continues to lure us here. "I'm a Stranger Here Myself" pairs Lauren's own journey from Kansas to the big city through songs made famous by other small town women that came before such as Helen Morgan, Mary Martin, Julie Wilson, Peggy Lee, Judy Garland, and more. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: LILLIAS WHITE RETURNS TO 4 BELOW

After taking the club by storm this spring, Lillias White returns to 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) with a brand new show on Friday, July 18th at 8:00 pm and Saturday, July 19th at 8:00 & 11:00 pm. This ultimate Broadway diva will celebrate her birthday week by sharing songs about the ups & downs, the ins & outs of love. Expect showstopping numbers from Cy Coleman, Nina Simone, Alan & Marilyn Bergman ... and songs ranging from brand new rock covers to oldies to hits from the Studio 54 heyday. Tony Award & Emmy Award winner Lillias White (The Life, Dreamgirls, Fela, Hercules) is a force of nature. There is a $40-$50 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.

NYC: DAVIS & JOHNSON PRESENT THE SONGS OF JOHNNY MERCER

Acclaimed vocalist Clay Johnson, along with tenor sax-man and past president of The Friends of Johnny Mercer, Jeremy Davis, pay tribute to one of the greatest songwriters in American history at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Friday, July 18th at 11:00 pm. Through the music, the lyrics and the stories behind them, Savannah residents Davis and Johnson tip their hats to the man, the legend and the legacy of Johnny Mercer. Along with the greatest songs, the best original arrangements and phenomenal musicianship, these two sophisticated Southern gentlemen bring their rich friendship and charm to the stage. •Fashioned in the style and swagger of the legendary entertainers lead by Frank Sinatra, Davis & Johnson are putting their own contemporary stamp on the Great American songbook.
