Baby Jane Dexter returns to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) with her acclaimed show, "More Rules of the Road," on Fridays, April 18th & 25th at 7:00 pm. More Rules of the Road is the latest emotionally empowering and highly-charged show from this influential and beloved cabaret artist who never disappoints. Her shows are filled with memorable anecdotes from life and a brilliant performing career as well as totally unforgettable song choices that have helped make her the local legend she remains today. This show includes compelling songs by Irving Berlin, Cy Coleman and Carolyn Leigh and George Gershwin, as well as something by Mike Scott from the Waterboys and a song written by Randy Newman and introduced by Baby Jane. She also does a new blues written by Vivien Wolsk suggested by KT Sullivan, and songs by greats like Peggy Lee and Sonny Burke, Rufus Wainwright and Abbey Lincoln. There is a $25 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
