NYC: REV. YOLANDA'S OLD TIME GOSPEL HOUR AT THE DUPLEX
A delightful, feel good, gender bending celebration of old fashioned gospel and country gospel music, plus original music by Rev. Yolanda written in the old fashion style, will be presented at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Sunday, April 20th at 6:30 pm. This show takes a musical tour of Rev. Yolanda's transformational spiritual journey from a gospel music loving Alabama gay boy, to a Radical Faerie, Rock & Roll, GLBT Hall of Fame Transgender Warrior, to a New Thought Interspiritual Drag Queen Reverend. Directed by Rev. Shawn Moninger, the show features Rev. Roger Anthony Yolanda Mapes on vocals and acoustic guitar; Kenneth Gartman, Musical Director/ Arrangements, piano, vocals. Special guests TBA. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
NYC: CLAUDINE CASSAN-JELLISON AT DON'T TELL MAMA
Claudine Cassan-Jellison will perform at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Sunday, April 20th at 7:30 pm and Monday, April 21st at 7:30 pm. She is accompanied by David Gaines at the piano. Claudine is having a homecoming of sorts, a joyous musical return for an entertainer who traded a successful career as a cabaret singer and actress for the more prosaic but challenging world of public education. Luckily, Claudine scattered some musical breadcrumbs along the paths of academe because she's found her way back to New York nightlife, bringing along with her a collection of songs that range from renowned classics by Irving Berlin and Cole Porter to more contemporary turns by Stevie Wonder and Billie Joel. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
NYC: PARISIENNE NATHALIE SCHMIDT WITH "FORGOTTEN LOVERS" AT MOSCOW 57
Parisian-based actor/singer/writer and director Nathalie Schmidt will star in her one-woman show, "Forgotten Lovers" atMOSCOW 57 ON DELANCEY (168 1/2 Delancey Street, NYC - 212-260-5775) on Sundays, April 20th & 27th, at 6:30 pm.••This is the fourth time she is performing this show in New York, having previously performed it in 2012 and 2013. "Forgotten Lovers" is a comedic/tragic musical of a woman, Greta, falling apart at the seams the week before she is to be married. She recounts tales of her numerous ex-lovers and where it all went wrong up to this moment in story and song. For this show, Nathalie will be accompanied by Moscow 57 music director, producer and arranger Ethan Fein on guitar and bass player Benjamin Franklin Brown. Nathalie Schmidt is an acclaimed French actress, comedian, singer, writer and director based in Paris, France. She has worked throughout Europe and in the USA. She has performed in more than 25 plays and 30 films. She has written and directed seven shows for the theater, and four short films. Call for cover/minimum information.

Roslyn Kind will perform at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Sunday, April 20th at 9:30 pm. 54 Below welcomes Ms. Kind back to the New York club scene, where she hasn't been seen in solo performance in 20 years. Having recently toured the U.S., Canada, Europe and Israel performing with her sister, Barbra Streisand, and nephew, Jason Gould, this brand new show features both new material & vintage "Rozzie" tunes. There is a $35-$45 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.
