PALM SPRINGS: ADAM PASCAL AT THE COPA

Actor, singer and recording artist Adam Pascal will perform at THE COPA (244 East Amado Road, Palm Springs CA - 760-866-0021 - ) on Thursday & Friday, March 20th & 21st at 8:00 pm. Adam is best known to audiences for his performance as Roger Davis in the Original Broadway Cast, 2005 Movie Version, and Broadway tour of the Broadway Musical "Rent". Adam is also known for originating the role of Radames in Elton John and Tim Rice's "Aida", for playing the Emcee in the 1998 revival of Cabaret, and most recently as Huey Calhoun in the Broadway Company of Memphis. LOS ANGELES: SACHA BOUTROS IN "SACHA SINGS STREISAND"

Jazz recording artist Sacha Boutros sings a collection of Streisand songs including hits from Funny Girl, The Way We Were, On a Clear Day, and other favorites at MARTINI'S ABOVE FOURTH (3940 4th Avenue, San Diego, CA - 619-400-4500) on Thursday, March 20th at 8:00 pm. San Diego native Boutros brings a fantastic LA-based rhythm section to dazzle for a night of everything Barbra. It should prove to be a fun and entertaining show by one of today's top Jazz artists. There is a $25-$35 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.

SAN FRANCISCO: DUDU TASSA & THE KUWAITIS AT YOSHI'S

The 29th Jewish Music Festival presents Dudu Tassa & The Kuwaitis at YOSHI'S(1330 Fillmore Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-655-5600) on Thursday, March 20th at 8:00 pm. Dudu Tassa is a bona fide Israeli rock star: one of the nation's most beloved singer/songwriters and most-sought-after guitarists. He has released eight albums, produced numerous others, and composed for television and cinema. In this performance, he and his band sing the songs of Tassa's grandfather and great-uncle, Saleh and Daud. Performing as the Al-Kuwaiti brothers, they were two of the greatest composer-musicians in Baghdad during the first half of the 20th century and acclaimed innovators of modern Iraqi music. They're still highly esteemed in the Arab world.• Also a composer, singer and a teacher; Dalal has recorded 12 albums over the past decade, covering varied cultural territory, and authentically representing and fusing Israeli and Middle Eastern cultures. Dalal's family came to Israel from Baghdad; his Iraqi roots are embedded in his music. Dalal will join Tassa and his band - featuring qanun (Middle Eastern zither), violin, cello, keyboards, guitars, bass and drums - on stage at Yoshi's San Francisco as a special guest. SAN FRANCISCO: JASON GRAAE IN "49 1/2 SHADES OF GRAAE"

Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle award winner Jason Graae brings his one man show 49 1/2 Shades of Graae toFEINSTEIN'S AT THE NIKKO (222 Mason Street, San Francisco, CA - 866-663-1063) on Thursday, March 20th at 8:00 pm for one performance only. Broadway juvenile turned Hollywood misfit Jason Graae explores the many "shades" of his life and career, both comedic and tragic. Jason Graae has starred on Broadway in A Grand Night for Singing, Falsettos, Stardust, Snoopy, and Do Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up? His Off Broadway shows include Forever Plaid, Olympus on My Mind, All in the Timing, Hello Muddah, Hello Faduh (Drama Desk Nomination, Best Actor in a Musical) and many more. San Francisco audiences may recognize Jason from the 42nd Street Moon's acclaimed production of Little Me or is portayal of "Frosch" in Die Fledermaus with the San Francisco Opera. 49 1/2 Shades of Graae is Directed by Heather Lee with Musical Direction by John Boswell.
