Joan Curto returns to DAVENPORT'S (1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830) on Thursday through Saturday, March 20th through 22nd at 8:00 pm in a new show, Once More with Feeling, revisiting, revising and (hopefully) remembering songs she has performed in One-night-only shows (and there have been many). Joan will also introduce a few new songs as well as a few favorites from her 15+ year career in Chicago Cabaret. She is joined by Beckie Menzie and Jim Cox. Call for cover/minimum information.

CHICAGO: SIMPLY SCOTTY AT SKOKIE THEATRE

After a very frozen performance schedule in 2014, SIMPLY SCOTTY, an evening of the greatest hits from the monthly, one-man stage spectacular, comes to the THE SKOKIE THEATRE(7924 Lincoln Avenue, Skokie, IL - 847-677-7761) on Thursday, March 20th at 8:00 pm. Blending a musical cocktail of the zingy warbles of vintage Judy Garland with the spirited enthusiasm of the cast of Glee, Scott takes on the poise and show business charisma of the likes of Billy Crystal to entertain an audience with belting "super tenor" vocals and a comical flair. With musical styles ranging from pop and cabaret to specialty numbers and show tunes, Scott covers the works of local talents like Susan Werner, show music from Sondheim to Kerrigan & Lowdermilk, hits from stars such as Elton John, and many more. Music director Nick Sula and special guest Freddie The Puppet join him. Drinks, appetizers, and desserts after the show. Call for cover/minimum information.
