CABARET TONIGHT IN TORONTO: MARK MCLEAN AT THE JAZZ BISTRO
Mark McLean will perform at THE JAZZ BISTRO (251 Victoria Street, Toronto, ONT, CA - 416-363-5299) on Friday & Saturday, December 6th & 7th at 9:00 pm. Mark started his career in Toronto as a jazz drummer. He moved to New York City in 2000 and since then has earned a far-reaching reputation, both as a versatile, sensitive player and as a visionary bandleader and recording artist. As an in demand side musician, he has contributed to a remarkably diverse assortment of recording projects and live tours, working with a broad array of artists from the worlds of jazz, pop and rock. Such artists include Billy Joel, Quincy Jones, Jamie Cullum, Dionne Warwick and most recently pop icon, George Michael. Mark will be playing music from his debut CD Playground and his most recent release, Feel Alright. He will be joined by pianist Robi Botos, Kelly Jefferson (saxophone), Ted Quinlan (guitar), bassist Marc Rogers and several special guests. There is a $15 cover.
