CABARET TONIGHT IN NYC: FORBIDDEN BELTING: A NIGHT OF BELTS, SCRELTS, AND CHEST-DOMINANT MIX
Steinhardt Vocal Performance Class of 2015 presents a night of irreverent belting at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Tuesday, December 3rd at 6:30 pm. For over two years they've been singing the songs of the Gershwins, Porter, Berlin, and been using plenty of head voice and light mechanism. NOW they present Forbidden Belting: A Night of Belts, Screlts, and Chest-Dominant Mix with all the subglottic pressure and contemporary strains you could ask for. There is a $5 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
