CABARET TONIGHT IN TORONTO: UNISON BENEVOLENT FUND EVENING
THE JAZZ BISTRO (251 Victoria Street, Toronto, ONT, CA - 416-363-5299) will host the annual UNISON BENEVOLENT FUND EVENING on Tuesday, December 3rd - doors open at 6:00 pm. The Unison Benevolent Fund is a charitable organization that provides counselling, emergency relief, and benefit programs for those in the Canadian music community who face personal or professional challenges due to hardship, illness, unemployment or economic difficulties. To date, Unison has raised over $800,000. While many services through Unison are available to the music community, the target to activate the financial support program is $1 million. They are so close, and the need is increasing every day. The holidays are a time to reflect on our good fortunes. They are also a time to lend a helping hand to those who need it. What better a time to reach our goal and give the gift of music then during the holiday season! No designated cover - donate what you can.
