CABARET TONIGHT IN D.C.: SWING MACHINE BIG BAND CHRISTMAS
A Swing Machine Big Band Christmas will be presented atBLUES ALLEY (1073 Wisconsin Avenue NW, Washington, DC - 202-337-4141) on Tuesday, December 3rd with shows at 8:00 & 10:00 pm. Swing Machine Big Band is an All Star big band, comprised of many former members of the Air Force Airmen of Note, Army Blues, Navy Commodores, Glenn Miller Orchestra and other professional musicians from the Washington DC area. Swing Machine features exceptional solo talent, and plays a wide variety of traditional swing era songs in addition to many contemporary jazz selections. Formed in 2008 by band leader Geoff Peterson and managed by wife Laura Peterson, Swing Machine Big Band continues to establish local and national recognition for their professional sound.
