CABARET TONIGHT IN NYC: KARRIN ALLYSON AT BIRDLAND WITH "YULETIDE HIDEAWAY"
Four-time Grammy nominee, singer/pianist Karrin Allyson, will perform at BIRDLAND(315 West 44th Street, NYC - 212-581-3080 - ) on Tuesday & Wednesday, December 17th & 18th at 11:00 pm. Karrin recently released her CD 'Yuletide Hideaway'. The 13-song album is a combination of original Holiday songs and Christmas standards, and features Allyson's trademark elegant, dreamy vocals. From 'Let It Snow' and 'Winter Wonderland' to Allyson's stunning original title track and more, the album is at times playful, introspective, spirited - a timeless classic-in-the-making. Allyson's understated sophistication suggests a cozy, contemplative December evening by the fireplace, perhaps alone, perhaps with loved ones by our side. There is a $40 cover plus a $10 food/drink minimum.
