CABARET TONIGHT IN D.C.: GREGG KARUKAS FEATURING SHELBY FLINGT "HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS"
Gregg Karukas will perform at BLUES ALLEY (1073 Wisconsin Avenue NW, Washington, DC - 202-337-4141) on Monday, December 16th with shows at 8:00 & 10:00 pm. The show, featuring Shelby Flingt, is "Home for the Holidays". Shelby Flint and Gregg Karukas' release, "Home for the Holidays" is an all acoustic project that immediately gained massive air play on both Mainstream, and Contemporary Jazz formats upon its initial release in the 90's. It features Gregg's innovative trio arrangements of holiday classics and quite a few originals, written or co-written by Shelby, and Gregg's original title cut written with Ron Boustead. After a 5 year hiatus, Gregg and Shelby have re-teamed to perform a series of "unplugged" concerts of their airplay hits and Holiday classics. Call for cover/minimum information.
