CABARET TONIGHT IN NYC: JAZZ PIANIST/COMPOSER MALCOLM CAMPBELL
Malcolm Campbell will perform at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440 - ) on Monday, August 12th at 10:00 pm. Malcolm is a jazz pianist and composer from Lexington, MA. As the first jazz musician in the Harvard/New England Conservatory dual degree program, Malcolm has studied under Danilo Perez, Frank Carlberg, Fred Hersch, Jason Moran and Jerry Bergonzi. He graduated from Harvard University in 2010 with a degree in Chemistry and Physics summa cum laude and from the New England Conservatory in 2011 with a Masters in Jazz Piano Performance. He has performed at Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall, the New England Conservatory's Jordan Hall, and Symphony Hall, and at the Panama Jazz Festival, Montreux Jazz Festival, the Aspen Jazz Festival, and Monterrey Next Generation Jazz Festival, and has performed professionally with Don Byron, Billy Hart, and Cecil McBee. There is a $12 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
