Keyboardist Jeff Lorber, jazz guitar favorite Chuck Loeb and saxophonist Everette Harper will perform on Saturday, August 17th at 8:00 pm atBETHESDA BLUES & JAZZ SUPPER CLUB (7719 Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda, MD - 240-330-4500). By the late 1970s, trailblazing keyboardist/producer Jeff Lorber had become a prominent figure in the new movement known as jazz fusion - a marriage of traditional jazz with elements of rock, R&B, funk and other electrified sounds. Lorber's music reaches a new level by crystallizing jazz, funk, and Latin rhythms with some killer melodies that translate exceptionally to live performance. More than just a jazz guitar player, Chuck Loeb is the consummate musician. In a career that spans four decades, he has proven himself to be a versatile composer, arranger and producer in a wide range of musical styles and contexts. Lorber and Loeb will be joined by talented saxophonist Everette Harper.
