CABARET TONIGHT IN NYC: JAZZ HOUSE KIDS FEATURING CHRISTIAN MCBRIDE
Jazz House Kids (JHK) will perform at DIZZY'S CLUB AT JAZZ AT LINCOLN CENTER (33 West 60th Street, NYC - 212-258-9595 - ) on Monday, August 12th with shows at 7:30 & 9:30 pm. JHK is a community-based arts organization that provides year-round musical, educational, and cultural programs to students, teachers, and adults from diverse backgrounds. JHK has developed award-winning big bands (who took second place in JALC's Essentially Ellington competition this year) and combos, and many students continue their studies at the nation's leading colleges and conservatories. JHK students have unparalleled access to professional and internationally acclaimed jazz musicians, ensuring an authentic jazz education and mentoring by a host of extraordinary talent. You are invited to join with the JHK Big Band and host/artistic director Christian McBride in support of the next generation of great jazz musicians. There is a $35 cover.
