CABARET TONIGHT IN L.A.: AN EVENING WITH ALAN & MARILYN BERGMAN
The Society of Composers & Lyricists (www.TheSCL.com) has asked Adryan Russ to head up a committee for songwriters called SongArts and for their first event, they have chosen legendary award-winning lyricists Alan and Marilyn Bergman ("The Way We Were," "Windmills of Your Mind" and many more) to join them for an evening, moderated by ASCAP's Michael Kerker, on Wednesday, August 14th at 7:30 pm at the LINWOOD DUNN THEATER of the Pickford Center for Motion Picture Study (1313 Vine Street, Hollywood, CA). The Bergmans will discuss their process, show some film clips and there's rumor of a live performance. If you are an SCL or ASCAP member, you can attend free else, there is a fee.
