CABARET TONIGHT IN NYC: ALI JACKSON QUINTET AT DIZZY'S
Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra drummer Ali Jackson returns to DIZZY'S CLUB AT JAZZ AT LINCOLN CENTER (33 West 60th Street, NYC - 212-258-9595) with fellow JLCO members Vincent Gardner and Sherman Irby, supported by an up and coming rhythm section of Emmet Cohen and Russell Hall on Monday through Thursday, August 5th through 8th with shows at 7:30 & 9:30 pm. There is always an extra dose of energy in the club when members of the JLCO perform together, and after a tour of Europe in July, Jackson will bring his A-game to his home for jazz - and yours - Jazz at Lincoln Center. With surprise special guests set to appear, expect a joyous musical celebration with the "chief good time instigator," Ali Jackson. There is a $30 cover.
