CABARET TONIGHT IN CHI: THINGS I'VE LEARNED ALONG THE WAY - SHELLY MARKHAM

Award-winning composer/ conductor/ arranger Shelly Markham will perform for one night only at DAVENPORT'S (1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830) on Sunday, August 4th at 4:00 pm. The show is a special celebration of the launch of his new CD "Things I've Learned Along the Way". He will be joined by special guests Anne & Mark Burnell. Shelly has written special musical material for many popular television series, including Friends, The Nanny, Golden Girls, Gimme A Break and Touched By An Angel, and scored the PBS production of Charley's Aunt starring Charles Grodin. As a musical director and arranger, Shelly has worked with singer Andrea Marcovicci for the past sixteen years in the famed Oak Room at the Algonquin Hotel in New York City, touring extensively around the world, and producing eleven of her CD's. Markham has worked with a most diverse roster of performers, including Lainie Kazan, Michael Feinstein, Margaret Whiting, Nell Carter, Joey Lawrence, Ann Jillian, Gogi Grant, Julie Wilson, Chad Mitchell, Carol Lawrence and Bonnie Franklin. His new CD, Things I've Learned Along The Way celebrates the wisdom and wonders of love at any age. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
