SF: CATHI WALKUP SINGS AT SUPPER & SONG
Cathi Walkup brings her show 'The New Look' at THE SOUND ROOM (2147 Broadway, Oakland, CA - 415-994-3501) on Sunday, April 21st in two sets, at 6:30 & 8:00 pm. Also performing are W. Allen Taylor, Dima, and Barry Warren. Musicians taking part are Benny Watson, piano; Carla Kaufman, bass; and Bob Blankenship, drums. Each Supper and Song event features a different combination of four jazz vocalists (backed by piano, bass and drums) presenting standards, rediscovered gems and originals. Drinks, appetizers, buffet dinner (including vegetarian dishes) and desserts are included in the admission price. There is a $27.50 cover.
