CHI: THE MAVENETTES TOAST JEWISH WOMEN SONGWRITERS
A toast to the best Jewish women songwriters by the Mavenettes (Carla Gordon, Jan Slavin) will be presented at DAVENPORT'S(1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830) on Sundays, April 21st & 28th at 7:00 pm. They will be accompanied by Beckie Menzie. They will sing favorites by Dorothy Fields, Betty Comden, Carole King, and other nice Jewish girls. Call for cover/minimum information.
