Julia Breanetta Simpson brings her show 'Julia and the Duke' at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Sunday, April 21st at 1:00 pm. Julia Breanetta Simpson hails from a small town in North Carolina where she began performing during her formative years. Her professional career began when she was cast as Jenny in Syracuse Stages' Production of Death of A Salesman. Julia earned her BFA degree in Musical Theatre at Syracuse University. Julia has performed in Regional, Dinner and Stock Theatres in such productions asAin't Misbehavin', Dreamgirls, For Colored Girls, One Mo' Time, Purlie, Tintypes,When The Nightingale Sings and Death Of A Salesman. She has appeared in various Off-Broadway theatres and Cabaret venues in New York City, most recently The Laurie Beechman Theatre and The Triad. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
