Direct from the 2012 Edinburgh Festival Fringe and London's Leicester Square Theatre, Mickey & Judy, created by and starring Canadian actor/vocalist Michael Hughes, makes its New York City debut at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438), on Monday, September 10th, Saturday, September 15th, and Thursday, September 20th, all shows at 7:00 pm. A 2012 Canadian Comedy Award nominee and smash hit of the 2011 Toronto Fringe Festival, Mickey & Judy is a hilarious one-man musical memoir that chronicles Hughes' childhood obsession with musicals and his journey from psychiatric ward to off-Broadway. Mickey & Judy garnered rave five-star reviews and sell-out houses when it received its world premiere at the 2011 Toronto Fringe. Hughes is a sought-after concert and cabaret performer in Canada. There is a $10 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
