59E59 THEATERS (59 East 59th Street, NYC - 212-279-4200 ) welcomes Reardon-Anderson Music with the world premiere of THE ANDERSON TWINS PLAY THE FABULOUS DORSEYS!, written and directed by Pete and Will Anderson. THE ANDERSON TWINS PLAY THE FABULOUS DORSEYS! begins performances on Tuesday, September 11th for a limited engagement through Sunday, October 7th. The performance schedule is Tuesday through Thursday at 7:30 pm; Friday at 8:30 pm; Saturday at 5:30 & 8:30 pm; and Sunday at 3:30 pm. There are additional performances on Sunday, September 23rd & 30th at 7:30 pm. Smoking hot jazz and smoldering sibling rivalry ignite in September. Saxophone and clarinet virtuosos (and brothers themselves) Pete and Will Anderson tell the riveting story of the two bandleaders, Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey, who rose to the top before sibling rivalry caused the act to split up. A blazing jazz sextet and footage from the 1947 film The Fabulous Dorseys turn up the heat on this biographical tale. The featured cast of musicians include Pete Anderson, Will Anderson, Jon-Erik Kellso, Ehud Asherie, Kevin Dorn, and Clovis Nicolas. Tickets are $25 ($17.50 for 59E59 Members)
