NYC: STEVEN CHERA ALBUM RELEASE "NEW YORK STATE OF MIND"
Steven Chera performs from his new album "New York State of Mind" atDON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Wednesday, September 12th at 9:30 pm. He is joined by The Bob Kaye Trio (Bob Kaye - Piano, Ed Caccavale - Drums, Lou Scott - Bass). Musical Direction by Shellen Lubin. This show mixes up songs from Steven's favorite three periods of music: standards (pre-60s pop), pop/rock (mostly of the 60s and 70s), and Beatles. Highlights include "Crazy" and "You've Made Me So Very Happy" as well as the title song. Complimentary copy of the album with entry. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
