NYC: THE METROPOLITAN ROOM PRESENTS "THE SOPHISTICATES"
New York's THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) will become even more exciting beginning Friday, August 10th at 11:30 pm when it introduces one of NYC's most talked-about burlesque revues, "The Sophisticates." Starring master of ceremonies Bastard Keith and burlesque headliner Madame Rosebud, and featuring a rotating constellation of guest stars, on the second and fourth Friday of the month. Specializing in classic burlesque, each night features a new line-up of four highly distinguished striptease artists performing two numbers each throughout the evening. Madame Rosebud has performed coast to coast and overseas with stops at the London Burlesque Festival, the New York Burlesque Festival, and competing at the Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend. Shows on August 10th, 24th and September 14th will include Bea B. Heart, Jubilee Diamond, Dirty Martini, Perle Noire, Tansy, Bettina May, Maine Attraction and Kristina Nekyia. There is a $30 cover plus a 2-drink minimum. (over 21 please)
