NYC: 9TH ANNUAL BROADWAY UNPLUGGED TONIGHT AT THE TOWN HALL
BROADWAY UNPLUGGED, celebrating the glory of Broadway Music will be presented tonight at THE TOWN HALL(123 West 43rd Street, NYC - 212-997-1929 - ) at 8:00 pm, Producer Scott Siegel has announced that Tony Award Winner Debbie Gravitte and Drama Desk Nominee Michael Winther have joined the previously announced Cheyenne Jackson (The Performers), Natalie Toro (A Tale of Two Cities), Julia Murney (Falling), Orfeh (Legally Blonde), Andy Karl (The Mystery of Edwin Drood), William Michals (South Pacific, Man of La Mancha), Jeffry Denman (The Holiday Guys), Bill Daugherty (Brother, Can You Spare a Dime), Barbara Walsh (Tony Nominee, Company, Falsettos, Big), Kelli Rabke (Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat), Carole J. Bufford (Speak Easy, Broadway by the Year, 11 O'Clock Numbers at 11 O'Clock), Christina Bianco (Drama Desk Nominee, Forbidden Broadway, Newsical, 11 O'Clock Numbers ... ), and Scott Coulter (The Stephen Schwartz Show, Broadway by the Year, 11 O'Clock Numbers ... ) BROADWAY UNPLUGGED is the concert in which today's Broadway stars sing like the stars of yesteryear: without microphones! Unplugged! In this age of head-splitting, over-amplifcation the sound of the pure human voice soaring through the orchestra and then sailing up into the balcony of an acoustically pure concert hall is to hear Broadway show music at its most thrilling.
