S.F.: HELLUVA TOWN: A NEW YORK SOUNDTRACK
Eric Comstock and Barbara Fasano make their debut at RRAZZ ROOM at THE HOTEL NIKKO (222 Mason Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-394-1189), fresh from an acclaimed, sold-out engagement at the ALGONQUIN OAK ROOM. Performances are scheduled for Sunday, November 13th at 3:00 pm and Monday, November 14th at 8:00 pm. Their new show, "HELLUVA TOWN: A New York Soundtrack" celebrates the love/hate affair Comstock, Fasano and most New Yorkers have with their city. Rather than sing predictable New York anthems, Comstock and Fasano will perform an idiosyncratic mix of songs from Broadway and Hollywood, the pop singer-songwriters and the jazz songbook. Winners of the 2010 New York Nightlife Award, they are the New York nightclub world's most celebrated team, with an act that is as entertaining as it is musically savvy. Whether the song is by Cole Porter or Paul Simon, Duke Ellington or Joni Mitchell, Comstock and Fasano make it fresh and new, and their audiences feel they've been to a terrific party where the music and the stories have been equally great. There is a $30 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
