L.A.: MIRIAM BIRCH BRINGS "IT'S ABOUT TIME" TO JOSLYN CENTER
Miriam Birch's "It's About Time" will be presented at THE ARTHUR NEWMAN THEATRE at the JOSLYN CENTER THEATRE (73-750 Catalina Way, Palm Desert, CA - TKTS: 760-325-2731) on Sunday, November 13th at 2:00 pm. The show is a funny, heartfelt hour that weaves together the subjects of time and Miriam's unusual double life as a singer and actress with her trailblazing career as a renowned Producer and Writer of television documentaries. The event is part of Les Michaels' Life Is A Cabaret Sunday Series. The story is sung and told with songs from the Great American Songbook, Broadway musicals, and films. Her special guest star is Raffi Mauro. Musical Director is Ron Snyder. Ms. Birch has lived an unusual double life with exciting dual careers. As an actress and singer she performed in stage musicals, clubs, on cruise ships, and on TV, most notably as a Mimsy the Mermaid in a long-running series. She also enjoyed an extremely successful career as Producer and Writer of many Emmy-winning documentaries, including specials for National Geographic Society Television, A&E, TLC, and The Cousteau Society, with assignments that took her on location to over 50 nations all over the world. She has been performing in cabaret clubs around the Los Angeles area and It's About Time will mark her Palm Desert debut. Tickets are $10.
