NYC: LORNA LUFT "SONGS MY MOTHER TAUGHT ME"
FEINSTEIN'S at the Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue, NYC - 212-339-4095) presents acclaimed entertainer Lorna Luft, Tuesday through Sunday, January 4th through 9th at 8:30 pm. In "Songs My Mother Taught Me: The Judy Garland Songbook," Ms. Luft melds one of the world's most familiar songbooks with personal memories of a loving daughter. The show was awarded two Los Angeles Theatre Alliance Ovation Awards. Born to legendary entertainer Judy Garland and producer Sid Luft, Lorna has had an acclaimed career encompassing virtually every arena of entertainment. A celebrated live performer, stage, film and television actress, best selling author, recording artist and Emmy nominated producer, she continues to triumph in every medium. At age 11, she made her television debut singing on her mother's series, "The Judy Garland Show." Since then, Lorna has had starring roles in both television and film. There is a $40-$60 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.
