Emily Bergl's Metropolitan Room debut show "Kidding On The Square" will be presented on Saturday, August 28th at 7:00 pm, Monday, August 30th at 9:30 pm and Tuesday, August 31st at 7:00 pm at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440). Special guest on August 28th will be Tony Award winner Michael Cerveris. "Kidding On The Square" is a highly theatrical cabaret that brings the audience on a roaring 20s ride through love, heartbreak, and everything in between. It's an old fashioned evening of entertainment told from the perspective of a modern girl and the eccentric characters she inhabits. In her debut musical performance, Broadway, film and television star Emily Bergl will be joined by acclaimed musical director and pianist G. Scott Lacy, who creates a cabaret world that blends classic Fats Waller and Cole Porter hits with vintage takes on modern favorites from Roy Orbison to Madonna.
