L.A.AREA: JAZZ AND CABARET SINGER TODD MURRAY IN "CROON"
Los Angeles based singer Todd Murray debuts his new show, "Croon" at BLAME IT ON MIDNIGHT (777 East Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm Springs, CA - 760-323-1200 - ) on Thursday, July 8th at 8:00 pm prior to it's opening at Hollywood's CATALINA BAR & GRILL on July 9th & 10th, and NYC's FEINSTEIN'S AT THE REGENCY on July 13th. A former Broadway star, Mr. Murray has been touring the country in his acclaimed show "Stardust And Swing" which is also the title of his most recent CD. With 22 songs, "Croon" hits on each decade since 'crooning' came into popularity in the 1920's with standards as well as contemporary tunes by Dillon, Leonard Cohan, and one written by Todd Murray and Alex Rybeck who also plays piano in the trio comprised of Sean Harkness on guitar and Steve Doyle on bass, who will be backing Todd.
