NYC: "PEG AND LOU'S COUNTRY MUSIC HOUR!" AT THE IQUANA
"Peg and Lou's Country Music Hour!" with Lori Evanson as Peg Williams and Lou Volpe as himself, will be presented on Sunday, June 13th (call for exact showtime) at IGUANA'S VIP LOUNGE (240 West 54th Street, NYC - 212-765-5454 - ). "Peg and Lou's Country Music Hour!" is a feel-good, down-home tribute to days gone by with classic country songs and stories from the South, an Arkansas version of A Prairie Home Companion. Peg Williams (an alter ego of Lori Evanson) shares tales from her native state and sings some toe-tapping tunes from the likes of Hank Williams, Johnny Cash and The Carter Family with renowned guitarist Lou Volpe. Lou Volpe, guitarist of The Bronx has been a fixture on the New York music scene for more than two decades. His resume of album performance, touring stints and music production reads like a 'who's who' of masters in the entertainment industry. There is a $10 cover plus a $10 food/drink minimum.
