NYC: Jazz Vocalist Laura Hull and DIVA At THE BLUE NOTE
Acclaimed jazz vocalist-songwriter Laura Hull will return to THE BLUE NOTE (131 West 3rd Street, NYC - 212-475-8592) on Sunday, June 13th, with sets at 12:30 & 2:30 pm in the club's brunch series. Joining her is the DIVA Jazz Trio, a band created from the world renowned DIVA Jazz Orchestra as a means to feature its foremost rhythm section featuring leader/drummer, Sherrie Maricle, pianist Tomoko Ohno, and bassist Noriko Ueda. Each member of the trio is a first-class soloist. Ms. Hull and DIVA will offer a full range of jazz selections that run the gamut from up-tempo and swinging to ballads and Bossa nova rhythms, and will include selections from each of their recent releases. Brunch is priced at $24.50 per person which includes music and brunch.
