LONDON: DAVID SCHEEL AT THE CRAZY COQS

David Scheel brings his show Don't Shoot Me, I'm Only The Piano Player to THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888) on Monday, October 20th at 8:00 pm. A runaway success in the West End, at successive Edinburgh Festivals, at the Melbourne Comedy Festival and right across the USA, the show is a hilarious send-up of classical music, which has established the Australian pianist as the successor to the legendary Victor Borge. David performs beautiful music and musical fun in so many accents/voices that he has been compared to Robin Williams and Peter Ustinov. David Scheel is a true Australian success story. So much so that he is regarded internationally as one of the finest solo musical comedy performers in the world. Born in Adelaide, David first tasted success in England, starring in the famous satirical News Revue in London's West End. He then turned to devising solo shows, and the result was Don't Shoot Me, I"M Only The Piano Player. Call for cover/minimum information.

LONDON: BEEN ON BROADWAY ALBUM LAUNCH AT THE PHEASANTRY

Following its sold out show last year and recent West End transfer, Been on Broadway returns to THE PHEASANTRY (152-154 King's Road, London SW3 4UT - 08456 027 017) on Monday, October 20th at 8:30 pm for the launch of an original cast album showcasing songs from hit Broadway musicals that haven't yet made it to the West End. A consummate cast of British musical theatre talent get their teeth (and lungs) around some of Broadway's best tunes from the modern musical era. Including songs from current and cult shows. Call for cover/minimum information.
