CHICAGO: BECKIE MENZIE & TOM MICHAEL IN "MUSIC - •AS SEEN ON TV"

Beckie Menzie & Tom Michael bring their brand new show "Music - As Seen on TV" toDAVENPORT'S (1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830) on Saturday, April 26th at 8:00 pm. Menzie & Michael explore how television brought some of the most memorable musical moments right into our homes. From variety & talk shows, celebrity TV specials, American Bandstand to American Idol and much more, it'll be "a really big show!" There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

ST. LOUIS: GASLIGHT CABARET FESTIVAL PRESENTS LARA TEETER

St. Louis's and Broadway's Own Lara Teeter will sing Porter, Gershwin, Rodgers and Hart and much more to bring to a close the GASLIGHT CABARET FESTIVAL (358 North Boyle Street, Louis MO - 314-725-4200 EXT 10) on Friday & Saturday, April 25th & 26th at 8:00 pm. Lara Teeter makes his St. Louis cabaret debut, sharing his journey as artist, teacher, husband and dad. Claimed by both St. Louis and Broadway (a Tony Nominee) as one of its own, Lara Teeter plans to show just how fresh the songbook is in a master song and dance man's hands. His performing resume includes Broadway credits: On Your Toes (Tony nomination), Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and The Pirates of Penzance. Off-Broadway and national touring credits: the Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz, The Robber Bridegroom, She Loves Me, My Fair Lady, Little Shop of Horrors, Singin' in the Rain, Follies, and Oklahoma!. There is a $40-$45 cover.

PALM SPRINGS: TONY TRIPOLI AT THE COPA

Tony Tripoli will appear at THE COPA(244 East Amado Road, Palm Springs CA - 760-866-0021) on Saturday, April 26th at 8:00 pm & Sunday, April 27th at 7:30 pm. Tony Tripoli is a regular opening act for Joan Rivers, and his hilarious stand-up can be seen all around the U.S., and on gay cruises. Currently, Tony is Head Writer/Senior Producer on E!'s hit show, "Fashion Police". He is also a Producer/Cast Member on "Joan And Melissa: Joan Knows Best" on WEtv, as well as the online phenomenon, "In Bed With Joan". Previously, he was the only male writer on STYLE'S first scripted comedy, "The Dish". ("The Soup" for gals and gays ... He was in heaven.) Call for cover/minimum information.

LOS ANGELES: JANIS MANN & RAYMOND De FELITTA AT THE GARDENIA

Janis Mann and Raymond De Felitta will perform at THE GARDENIA (7066 Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood, CA - 323-467-7444) on Saturday, April 26th at 9:00 pm. A true jazz singer in the manner of Carmen McRae, Betty Carter, and Shirley Horn, Miss Mann possesses a rich timbre, flexibility, and range which often invites comparisons to Sarah Vaughan. She has worked with Roy Haynes, Kenny Werner, Diane Schuur, Jack Sheldon, Terell Stafford, John Clayton, Dave Frishberg, and many more jazz luminaries. Mr. De Felitta is an accomplished jazz pianist and independent filmmaker, whose work as a writer and director has been shown and honored around the world, including at the festivals in Cannes, Sundance, Toronto, Tribeca (New York,) South By Southwest (Austin,) and Milan. His award-winning documentary about singer Jackie Paris, 'Tis Autumn, has toured festivals nationwide. Call for cover/minimum information.

SAN FRANCISCO: A MORE INTIMATE EVENING WITH COCO PERU

Spend A More Intimate Evening with Coco Peru at FEINSTEIN'S AT THE NIKKO (222 Mason Street, San Francisco, CA - 866-663-1063) on Saturday, April 26th at 7:00 pm. Coco loves to reminisce. In fact she's very good at it. In A More Intimate Evening with Coco Peru she performs some of her favorite monlogues and songs spanning her long career, as well as some new stuff too. Coco Peru, aka Clinton Leupp, grew up in the Bronx, New York and got his start as a downtown favorite in the cabaret scene in the early 1990s. Coco is best known for her on screen roles in the films "Trick" and "Girls Will Be Girls." Coco shared the Best Actress Award with his co stars at the HBO Comedy Arts Festival and the Best Actor Award at LA's Outfest Film Festival. Other films: "To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar" and "Straight Jacket." In the Disney animated feature "The Wild" Coco voiced Mamma Hippo and can be seen in the upcoming sequel to "Girls Will Be Girls."
