CHICAGO: DEBORAH DARR - AUDITIONING FOR LIFE: BROADWAY AND ME

Deborah Darr returns to DAVENPORT'S (1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830) on Thursday, April 24th & Monday, April 28th at 8:00 pm with jer show 'Auditioning For Life: Broadway and Me'. Deborah will relate through song the story of her decades in New York City and on Broadway! Musical director is Nick Sula. Originally Directed by Louise Cloutier, for these shows the director is Lina Koutrakis, with arrangements by Rick Jensen. There is a $13 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

CHICAGO: AUDREY HEPBURN AT SKOKIE THEATRE WITH HILARY ANN FELDMAN

Chicago cabaret artist Hilary Ann Feldman performs her touching, funny, and enlightening tribute to Audrey Hepburn at THE SKOKIE THEATRE(7924 Lincoln Avenue, Skokie, IL - 847-677-7761) on Thursday, April 24th at 8:00 pm. When you think of Audrey Hepburn, you think of timeless beauty. But Audrey was so much more than a pretty face and a killer clavicle. From WWII refugee to Academy Award winner, from UNICEF beneficiary to UNICEF ambassador, Audrey lead a remarkable and exemplary life. Actress, fashion icon, wife, mother, and tireless humanitarian, Audrey is as much beloved today as she was half a century ago. Musical director is Beckie Menzie. Tickets are $20.

PALM SPRINGS: ALEC MAPA AT THE COPA

With uproarious live performances and ground breaking television roles, actor and comedian Alec Mapa has entertained audiences worldwide in every imaginable medium. Now Alec Mapa comes to THE COPA (244 East Amado Road, Palm Springs CA - 760-866-0021) Thursday & Friday, April 24th & 25th at 7:30 pm. Alec's television career has gone from desperate to ugly with not one but two recurring roles on ABC's "Desperate Housewives" and "Ugly Betty". On Wisteria Lane Alec is known as Gabriel Solis' personal shopper "Vern" . On "Ugly Betty no gossip report would be complete without the latest from Alec as fashion reporter extraordinaire "Suzuki St. Pierre". Audiences first discovered Alec on Broadway in the Tony Award winning production of "M. Butterfly". He guest starred on over 40 television series, including Alias, Friends, Roseanne, Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. Alec played network television's very first gay asian series regular role on the short lived CBS sitcom "Some Of My Best Friends". He then starred in four seasons of the UPN sitcom "Half and Half". Film audiences howled at Alec as "N'Cream" in the wildly popular drag queen musical "Connie and Carla". Other films include "Playing By Heart " ,"Marley and Me" and "You Don't Mess with The Zohan" .Alec's "Wisecrack " stand up comedy special premiered on LOGO in 2005 and has since gained a huge cult following. LOS ANGELES: ALAN RACHINS AT THE GARDENIA

Alan Rachins will perform at THE GARDENIA (7066 Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood, CA - 323-467-7444) on Thursday, April 24th at 9:00pm. Garnering Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for his portrayal of "Douglas Brackman" on the Emmy-Award-winning L.A. Law, which ran for eight seasons, Mr. Rachins also starred for five seasons as "Larry Finkelstein," the hippie father on Dharma & Greg. He also starred in the Reprise production of Promises, Promises, with Jason Alexander, Jean Smart, and Alan Thicke. Call for cover/minimum information.

SAN FRANCISCO: SINGER-SONGWRITER-PIANIST PETER CINCOTTI AT FEINSTEIN'S

Singer-songwriter-pianist, Peter Cincotti will appear at FEINSTEIN'S AT THE NIKKO (222 Mason Street, San Francisco, CA - 866-663-1063) for two performances only, on Thursday & Friday, April 24th & 25th at 8:00 pm. Peter will be performing a mix of songs from his critically acclaimed albums as well as some brand new material from his highly antipated upcoming release. A native New Yorker, Peter Cincotti began playing piano at the age of three. While in high school, he regularly performed in clubs throughout Manhattan. In 2003, Peter's debut album, produced by the legendary Phil Ramone, reached #1 on the Billboard jazz charts, making Cincotti the youngest artist ever to do so. This led to acclaimed performances at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, The Olympia in Paris, The Montreux Festival (where he won an award in their renowned piano competition), Queen Elizabeth Hall in London, and many other prestigious venues around the world. Peter made his acting debut in the Kevin Spacey film "Beyond the Sea," and also contributed to the film's soundtrack. There is a $55-$70 cover plus a $20 food/drink minimum.

SAN FRANCISCO: LES NUBIANS AT YOSHI'S

The Afropean, Urban, R&B GRAMMY-nominated sister duo Les Nubians will perform at YOSHI'S (1330 Fillmore Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-655-5600) on Thursday, April 24th with shows at 8:00 & 10:00 pm. Les Nubians are sisters Helene and Celia Faussart from Paris France. In 1985 the sisters moved with their parents to Chad, Africa. Seven years later, they returned to Bordeaux, France and began singing a cappella, producing poetry slams in Bordeaux and Paris, and singing background vocals for various artists worldwide. The duo's debut album Princesses Nubiennes was released by Virgin Records, France, in 1998. To date, Les Nubians have made their home base Brooklyn New York. They continue to tour the U.S. and world-wide performing at Festivals, art centers, theaters and clubs. Dinner/Show: $63-$72 Show only: $30-$36.
