LOS ANGELES: MUSI-CAL - NEW MUSICALS BORN IN LA!
Musi-Cal, part of the Festival's ongoing priority to create community among Southern California's composers, lyricists and book writers, returns to ROCKWELL: TABLE & STAGE (1714 Vermont Avenue, Los Angeles, CA - 323-669-1550) on Monday, August 3rd at 8:00 pm. These Musi-Cal evenings offer an opportunity for the writers to get to know one another and for the audience to get a first peak at new musical works in progress. Linda Shusett & Robert Klein are Co-Executive Producers of the Festival. Featured this month are:Erik Przytulski (Music, Lyrics, Book) with songs from "Thumbelina" Performed By: Brianne Sanborn, Rachel Tyler, Allie Costa, Shannon Martinous, and Luke Klipp.
Matt Dahan (music) and Kelly D'Angelo (Lyrics, Book) with songs from "The Count of Monte Cristo: The Musical". Performed By: David Meinke, Laurine Price, Bryan Vickery, David Zack, Anthony Gruppuso, Mary Nepi Parnell, and Damone Marcano.
Bryan Blaskie (Music, Lyrics) and Manny Hagopian (Music, Lyrics) with songs from "Assistants: The Musical". Performed By: Dan Amerman, Christopher Renfro, Abby Eiland, and Ali Axelrad.
There is a $15-$25 cover.
