With her feet firmly fixed in 1950s nostalgia, American songstress Kai Hoffman brings you her brand new cabaret show HOT ROCKIN DIVA, to THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888) on Monday, June 15th at 8:00 pm. The show includes a selection of her favourite songs from the Hot Rockin' Divas of early fifties rhythm and blues, swing, rock & roll and country, a personal tribute to ladies like Big Mama Thornton, Rosemary Clooney, Ruth Brown, Patsy Cline and many more! In her own inimitable style, Hoffman brings you a fun-filled, wild ride of a show with a dash of exotica and just a peppering of kitsch, with great rockin' tunes, beautiful slow numbers and some of her own originals. A Massachusetts-native, Hoffman has travelled the world, performing shows in New York City, London and Bangladesh, with the European Jazz Expo in between. She is a cabaret compere, jazz singer, Rock & Roll diva and recording artist, with three studio albums under her belt. Call for cover/minimum information.
