HOTLINE MEMBER CABARET EVENT TONIGHT IN NEW HOPE, PA: KT SULLIVAN "RHYME, WOMEN AND SONG"
KT Sullivan's show Rhyme, Women, and Song, which debuted In The Oak Room of New York City's Algonquin Hotel, and in 2015 became a PBS TV special, now moves into LIVE AT THE RRAZZ (1000 Van Ness Avenue, SF - 800-380-3095) on Friday, June 19th at 8:00 pm. KT Sullivan salutes the great female songwriters such as Peggy Lee, Dorothy Parker, Dorothy Fields (the Sunny Side of the Street, The Way You Look Tonight), Joni Mitchell (Both Sides Now), Carol King (Will You Love Me Tomorrow), Betty Comden (The Party's Over) and lesser known writers like Maria Greever (What a Difference a Day Made) and Irene Higgenbotham (Good Morning Heartache) in what Stephen Holden of The New York Times called "The Seven Stages of Woman". Ms. Sullivan is the recipient of Mabel Mercer Award for Lifetime Achievement. There is a $35-$45 cover.
