LONDON: BOUNDER AND CAD: BOUNDING AROUND
The cabaret duo that David Cameron tried to censor whips up a tasty cocktail of comedic song for their Crazy Coqs debut in BOUNDING AROUND at THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888) on Sunday, June 21st at 7:00 pm. As lapsed Cambridge choral scholars, Bounder & Cad formed their unholy alliance to wing their way into University balls as a Rat Pack double-act. For no good reason, they wrote a Disney parody, The Prince Harry Song, which didn't go viral on YouTube - but led to an unexpected sequel which featured in international media. Ever since, the two have roved the land fearlessly, skewering English eccentricities with their rapier of satirical jazz. Their Cameron/Clegg-themed rewrite of Me And My Shadow for the Downing Street Christmas party was vetoed by the PM's aides, but performed nonetheless after a rallying call from the crowd. Join them for a spritz of song from their story so far, stirred with Porter, Coward and Legrand - and garnished with some minty-fresh numbers written specially for this show. Delicious. Bounder & Cad are Adam Drew and Guy Hayward, accompanied by pianist Chris McMurran.

LONDON: AIRLIE SCOTT AND GUILLERMO ROZENTHULER AT THE PHEASANTRY

Talented actor, cabaret/jazz singer, Airlie Scott will join in musical conversation with Buenos Aires-born vocalist and guitarist Guillermo Rozenthuler, one of the leading voices of tango and South American song in the UK, at THE PHEASANTRY (152-154 King's Road, London SW3 4UT - 08456 027 017) on Sunday, June 21st at 8:00 pm. Fusing Airlie's love of swing, heartfelt ballads, poetic lyrics and the American songbook with Guillermo's passion for tango, bossa and more, sharing and improvising with each other. Expect jazz, spontaneity, emotional vignettes and a touch of comedy. A soulful singer and a versatile improviser, Guillermo's renditions of traditional Latin tunes are always refreshing. He recently released "Musica Paradiso', a project shared with British Jazz star Tina May. His latest projects, are 'Agora', a collaboration with internationally acclaimed Latin Jazz pianist Edward Simon, and "Primeros Pasos" with the London Tango Orchestra. He recently toured the UK with box- office success Midnight Tango. Call for cover/minimum information.
