SAN DIEGO, CA: IAN HARVIE IN "TRANS MAN, SUPERHERO" WITH ALLISON GILL
Ian Harvie brings his show "Trans Man, Superhero", with Allison Gill, to MARTINI'S ABOVE FOURTH (3940 4th Avenue, San Diego, CA - 619-400-4500) on Tuesday, June 23rd at 8:00 pm. In this show, Harvie covers topics from his own top surgery, to his fear of public restrooms, to his active sex life. His unique act queers the traditionally macho, sex-obsessed world of stand up in ways you won't believe, proving that laughter cuts across all gender identities and ultimately unites us all. Harvie co-starred as "Dale" on TRANSPARENT on Amazon. He started in standup in 2002 and broke new ground when he came out on stage as transgender. He's toured the world and is unafraid to joke about subjects no other comedian has ever touched. In 2014, Harvie, with the help of friend and Executive Producer Margaret Cho, unveiled his first-ever live standup comedy special, IAN HARVIE SUPERHERO, with special guest Allison Gill. A portion of the evening's proceeds will go to The Center's Project TRANS. There is a $20-$25 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.

Sasha and Frankie present a cabaret of fun and fate at ROCKWELL: TABLE & STAGE (1714 Vermont Avenue, Los Angeles, CA - 323-669-1550) on Tuesday, June 23rd at 8:00 pm. They've picked the tunes, they just haven't picked who sings what. THAT they will leave up to chance as a coin toss decides who will sing each song! There is a $15-$30 cover.
