NYC: JUDY AND LIZA TOGETHER AGAIN AT MAMA'S

Cabaret favorites Tommy Femia and Rick Skye have teamed up for another evening of "Judy and Liza Together Again" at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Saturday, May 17th at 8:00 pm. They are joined by Ricky Ritzel (as Mort) at the piano. These MAC Award winning performers (Best Impersonation) will pull out all the stops, singing classic solo's, parodies, duets and just plain whooping and hollering by the greatest mother/ daughter team in show biz history. Tommy Femia is a 7 time winner of the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs (MAC) Award for his brilliant portrayal of Judy Garland in "Judy Garland LIVE!", now in it's 20th season at Don't Tell Mama. He has also starred in "Whoop-de-doo", "I Will Come Back" and, most recently, "Norma Does Men". Rick Skye is best known for writing a string of outrageous comic revues including "The Flip Side of Neil Sedaka", "MaCabaret - a tabloid fable", "The War of the Mama Roses", "It's Madame with an E" and the International hit - "A Slice O' Minnelli" for which has enjoyed successful season's in Covent Garden, at the Apollo Theatre in London's West End and at the Dublin Theatre Festival where he received the Award for "Best Achievement in Performance". There is a $25 cover charge and a 2 drink minimum.

NYC: SONYA PERKINS: "GET READY TO SWING"

Sonya Perkins returns to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Saturday, May 16th at 4:00 pm with her show 'Get Ready To Swing'. At this performance Sonya will be accompanied by Bob Albanese, piano, Grammy Award Winner, John Benitez, bass, Dwayne " cook" Broadnax, drums and Josh Evans, trumpet. Inspired by the jazz singers of the 50s: Anita O'Day, Chris Conner, Jeri Southern and Billie Holiday, Sonya set out to make singing jazz her career. She began musical training at age 16 but felt a calling to the helping professions, which led to an active career as a psychotherapist. But she returned to performing after the 9/11 disaster. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: DAVID MEULEMANS AT THE METROPOLITAN ROOM

Florida based David Meulemans will perform at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Saturday, May 16th at 4:00 pm. Meulemans is an accomplished performer, as comfortable on the big stage as he is in the most intimate of venues. Classically trained, David earned a Bachelor's degree from Lawrence Conservatory of Music in his native Appleton, Wisconsin, where he began his performing career in stage plays, concert work, recordings, and solo cabaret shows. As a popular leading man in Florida's musical theatre scene, David's credits encompass such diverse roles as Bobby in Company, Za Za in La Cage Aux Folles, Little Chap in Stop The World and even Stepsister Gert in a traditional British "panto" version of Cinderella. David's artistry has enabled him to perform with musical icons ranging from Carol Channing to Davy Jones. He has performed with MAC Award winners Tommy Femia and Steven Brinberg, and worked with Award-winning director/ choreographer Michael Leeds. David originated the role of Herve in Fool's Paradise, directed by Jonathan Cerullo, and he can be heard as the protagonist in the audio recording of Tony Award-winner Russ Thacker's autobiographical musical comedy, Flamingos In Amber. Recently, David performed in Cabaret Stars of Tomorrow at the International Cabaret Conference at Yale University, which was followed by his debut performance at the famous "Don't Tell Mama" cabaret in New York City, with an introduction by Julie Wilson. NYC: THE FRANK DIBUSSOLO GROUP - SONGS TO WRITE HOME ABOUT

The Frank DiBussolo Group presents 'Songs to Write Home About' at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM(34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Saturday, May 16th at 9:30 pm. Since 1965, guitarist Frank DiBussolo has been gracing concert halls and studios alike with his technical proficiency and smooth, emotionally astute style across the fretboard throughout a fortuitous career that includes collaborations and appearances with such greats as Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, and Dizzy Gillespie. The eight-time Grammy-nominated artist has also developed a wide reputation as an expert educator with a genuine interest in the up-and-comers of the jazz world. T5hus the Frank DiBussolo Group was born. Hailing from Allentown, Pennsylvania, the band's members share a likeminded vision for cutting across generation gaps, proving those gaps arbitrary in the process by turning the tried and true into freshness incarnate. NYC: THE METROPOLITAN ROOM PRESENTS ELGIN GILES - G-VIBE CITY

Elgin Giles, a native North Carolinian, presents 'G-Vibe City' at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM(34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440 - ) on Saturday, May 16th at 11:00 pm. Born and raised in Raleigh, NC, Elgin grew up leading the choir in church and soon began to write/ arrange his own music at the young age of 10. With such a powerful ear and soul, Elgin has a level of creativity and showmanship that is rarely seen in today's musical pop culture. Elgin is a talented singer and song writer who is an undiscovered pioneer in acting and many other forms of visual entertainment. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: VICKY VOX: BECAUSE I CAN

Vicky Vox will make her solo cabaret debut at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) on Saturday, May 16th at 7:00 pm. She is know world over for her YouTube videos with RuPaul's Drag Race stars Detox and Willam, as the trio DWV. In her new solo show, Vicky is set to blow the roof off of any building. As a former member of the drag phenomenon girl group DWV, she will be singing songs she never got the chance to sing and some songs she probably shouldn't be singing. Vicky knows that 'Because I Can' is the best excuse to let you into her world with songs she will probably ruin and others you didn't even know you needed to hear. Let the healing begin. NYC: LE SCANDAL CABARET CONTINUES AT THE BEECHMAN

NYC's longest running burlesque variety show, LE SCANDAL CABARET, continues on Saturdays, at 10:30 pm at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909). In its fourteenth year, Le Scandal features variety acts, circus performers, live music and a bevy of burlesque beauties. New performers every week! NYC: "SEARCH: PAUL CLAYTON" THE MAN WHO LOVED BOB DYLAN

STAGE 72 (158 West 72nd Street, NYC - 212-362-2590) presents the New York premiere of a new folk musical, 'Search: Paul Clayton, the Man Who Loved Bob Dylan', which features 14 classic folk songs, The show will play for 13 performances only from Wednesday, May 6th through Thursday, May 21st. Showtimes and days vary so check the STAGE 72 Website. The opening night is Thursday, May 7th at 7:00 pm, with a second show on Friday, May 8th at 9:00 pm. 'Search: Paul Clayton' celebrates the true story in words and song of one of Bob Dylan's first musical mentors. Paul Clayton of New Bedford, Massachusetts was the most recorded young folk singer in America when Bobby Zimmerman arrived in 1961 Greenwich Village to begin his career as Bob Dylan. It was Paul who helped open the doors of the folk world to him. From 1961 to 1965 Paul taught Bob the tricks of the trade, while falling hopelessly in love with him. The show was conceived and written by Larry Mollin ("Beverly Hills 90210"), directed by Randal Myler (Tony Award nominee, It Ain't Nothin' But The Blues) with musical direction by Fred Mollin and is produced by Dan Whitten and TIGER Theatricals. "Search: Paul Clayton" will feature Peter Oyloe as Paul Clayton, Jared Weiss as Bob Dylan, Ereni Sevasti as Joan Baez, Jaime Babbitt as Carla Rotolo, Allan Harris as the Rev. NYC: 54 SINGS THE SONGS OF CY COLEMAN

An unforgettable cabaret event, 'The Songs Of Cy Coleman' will be presented at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Friday & Saturday, May 15th & 16th and Wednesday, May 20th, all shows at 7:00 pm. Directed & conceived by Will Nunziata, the show brings together three Broadway Leading Ladies who all originated roles on Broadway in a Cy Coleman show: Tony Award winner Randy Graff, Tony Award winner Cady Huffman, and Tony Award winner Lillias White. Fresh solo, duet, and trio arrangements of some of Cy's most beloved songs will include selections from his pop standards canon and film scores, as well as his musicals Wildcat, Little Me, Sweet Charity, Seesaw, I Love My Wife, On the Twentieth Century, Barnum, City of Angels, The Will Rogers Follies, and The Life. Up-and-coming star Mark MacKillop (West Side Story International Tour, On Your Toes at Encores) wiil appear at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Saturday, May 16th at 9:30 pm for a night of reinvention and reinterpretation ... a live concert guide of "how to really have it all." This fun, unique concert will be part music and part tongue-in-cheek look at how to become your "perfect" Facebook persona online and off, how to stuff your Instagram's ego, and how to shamelessly drink until those worlds start to blend into your very own twisted reality. All this will be sung through the "standards" of the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s. After a year on the road, Mark MacKillop returns to New York with a phone full of "scantily clad photos" that the Huffington Post says "sets pulses racing." NYC: 54 BELOW PRESENTS JOSHUA HINCK: MESS

Joshua Hinck: Mess will bring you an immersive evening of mischief, play, and rule-breaking from the creator of Puzzled, City Fairytale, and other similar cabaret shows you possibly missed at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Saturday, May 16th at 11:30 pm as part of the club's Late Night Series. This show explores everything and nothing, with music new and old by people-you-have-yet-to-hear-of and people-you-wish were-making-a-guest-appearance. Featuring Joshua Hinck and most of the Misfit Muses. Joshua's current projects include New Work Wednesdays, a web series about musical theatre songwriters and tracking down Carmen Sandiego. He has performed all over, from the Fox Theatre in Detroit, to Tokyo. Featuring the Misfit Muses Maggie McNeil, Allison Mickelson, and Charlie Levy. NYC: PAULETTE MCWILLIAMS AT JOE'S PUB

Paulette McWilliams, one of Luter Vandross' core singers, returns to JOE'S PUB at THE PUBLIC THEATRE (425 Lafayette Street, NYC - 212-967-7555) on Saturday, May 16th at 7:30 pm. Paulette McWilliams is best known for her deep sultry velvety tones and her wide vocal range. Sge was the iconic voice behind Michael Jackson on "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" (Michael's biggest hit) and on Aretha Franklin's No.1 hit "Jump To It". She can be heard on Billy Idol's No. 1 hit "Mony Mony," Luther Vandross's "Stop To Love" and "Wait For Love," and her contagious laugh and vocals can be found on "Bad Boy/Having A Party," and so many others.
