NYC: SANDRA BARGMAN RETURNS IN THE EDGE OF EVERYDAY

Sacred Stages LLC presents "The Edge of Everyday," with Sandra Bargman which returns to THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Friday, January 30th at 7:00 pm & Sunday, February 15th at 4:30 pm. "The Edge of Everyday" explores our fear of change and ultimately, our acceptance of the dichotomies of Life. "The Edge" is where our resistance, our reluctance to embrace the diversity of life, collides with the inevitability of change in all the corners of our lives. Sandra considers the tension between these seeming paradoxes with poignancy and comedy, and with music ranging from David Bowie and Eric Clapton to Georgia Stitt and David Cantor, the show is a rowdy ride! Sandra Bargman in THE EDGE OF EVERYDAY is directed by multi MAC Award and Bistro Backstage Award winner Shawn Moninger. Musical Director, Ian Herman will accompany Sandra at the piano. Dave Silliman is on percussion and Jerry DeVore is on bass. Sandra and Ian debut their original tune, "Who's To Say?" and Sandra debuts her original rap "beat poet" tune, "Lean In Edgy Ones".Sandra Bargman has appeared in the Madison Square Garden's Broadway National tour of CINDERELLA starring Eartha Kitt. She has appeared Off-Broadway, has played leading roles in regional theaters and summer stock productions across the country, and has sung in many of the cabaret rooms of NYC. She holds a BFA from Carnegie-Mello University. Her distinct voice can be heard in numerous radio and television commercials. Member AEA, SAG/AFTRA. Sandra is a seminary trained Ordained Interfaith Minister and is the founder of Sacred Stages, LLC, an organization that combines her performing background and ministry. Sacred Stages is dedicated to encouraging everyone to explore our big questions about life and to re-discover timeless universal truths through the venue of live theater, music, media and workshops. There is an $18-$22 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: MARY FOSTER CONKLIN AT A MOSCOW 57

Jazz/ cabaret vocalist Mary Foster Conklin performs on Friday nights at MOSCOW57 ON DELANCEY (168 1/2 Delancey Street, NYC - 212-260-5775) at 8:00 pm. on Friday, January 30th the club will celebrate its one year anniversary on the corner where Loisaida meets the Williamsburg Bridge. Owned by Ellen Kaye, singer/ pioneer/ force of nature, who nightly hosts the best party in town with a rotating group of artistsecalls it Hobohemia - A Rendezvous of Strangers. Mary sings a short set every Friday, with Ethan Fein on guitar and Benjamin Franklin Brown on bass. Call for cover/minimum information.

NYC: MARISSA MULDER RETURNS WITH " INSTINCTS"

Multi-award winner Marissa Mulder returns to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Thursday, January 29th at with an exciting new show called " Instincts". She will be joined on stage by her musical director Nate Buccieri. Marissa Mulder grew up in Syracuse, NY. She moved to New York City in 2007 and has gone on to become one of the most successful young cabaret artists on the NY scene. In 2011, she beat out 60 other singers to win the MetroStar Challenge at the Metropolitan Room. She has since performed at all the major clubs in NYC as well as touring throughout the country. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: TIM DI PASQUA CONTINUES SONGBOOK SERIES AT MAMA'S

Award-winning Singer/Songwriter Tim Di Pasqua will return to DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Friday, January 30th at 7:00 for an intimate evening of his original music. In addition to being known for classic pop songs YOU, ONE THING MAYBE YOU DIDN'T HEAR ME and MONSTER UNDER THESE CONDITIONS, Tim has composed the music and lyrics for his theatrical shows SYNCHRONICITY, NOTES ON NEW YORK (The musicalized observations of Tim Di Pasqua) and is currently working on his latest show AN APARTMENT ON THE UPPER WEST SIDE. This intimate concert will be the sixth in his songbook series started in 2014, where Tim has presented a new and different set each night as he moves through his catalog. This latest offering will feature some of very first pop songs he has written as well as four brand new tunes making their debut. Tim's songs have been recorded or performed by the greatest voices on Broadway and in the Pop world including Julia Murney, Capathia Jenkins, Alix Korey, Brian Lane Green, Ann Marie, Heather MacRae, Marcus Simeone, J. Robert Spencer, David Burnham, and Stephen Schwartz. NYC: 54 BELOW CELEBRATES THE RETURN OF CHRISTINE EBERSOLE

54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) celebrates the return engagement of two-time Tony Award winner Christine Ebersole with her show 'Big Noise From Winnetka' on Wednesdays through Saturdays, January 21st through 24th and 28th through 31st, all shows at 7:00 pm. Here 54 Below appearance follows a sold out 2 week run of her new show=. Christine's show returns for 8 performances, with musical director Bette Sussman (Whitney Houston, Cyndi Lauper, Bette Midler) leading Christine's 4 piece band and vocalist Tabitha Fair. The concert features both classic and re-imagined Broadway hits, pop and jazz classics and anecdotes about growing up. Winner of two Tony Awards for Best Actress in a Musical (42nd Street and Grey Gardens), Christine co-stars on the hit TBS series Sullivan & Son (now in it's 3rd season).
