THIS IS YOUR NIGHT! is based on a classic premise that profiles a guest honoree who has contributed in some significant way to the NYC Entertainment Industry. It can include, but not limited to: photographers, writers, bloggers, press, promoters, management, publicists, directors, musical directors and producers. This month's event, held on Monday, January 26th at 7:00 pm at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440), is co-produced by Bernie Furshpan, Metropolitan Room & Sue Matsuki, Matsuki Productions and honors David Kenney, producer, writer and host of the WBAI-FM radio show "Everything Old Is New Again", usually heard from 9:00 to 11:00 pm on Sundays. Each week David presents the usual blend of big-band jazz, swing, standards, showtunes, contemporary cabaret and celebrity interviews plus MEGA-MEDLEY MADNESS. Performers taking the stage to perform and honor David will include Karen Akers, Tom Anderson, John Bucchino, Eric Comstock, Barbara Fasano, Mary Foster Conklin, Karen Mason, Don Rebic, Jay Rogers, Kendra Shank & Lucas Steele. Guest Speakers include Janet Coleman and James Gavin. Hosted by Bernie Furshpan, musical direction is by Barry Levitt. *A portion of the revenue will be given to WBAI.FM, listener supported, commercial free radio. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: LISA S. DONTZIN'S FAIRYTALE FACTS AT THE DUPLEX

Fairytale Facts will be presented at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Mondays, January 19th & 26th, at 7:00 pm. The show is an actors nightmare with a touching look at aging and beauty. Written and performed by Lisa S. Dontzin. Andrew Nordin opens the show on 19th & 26th. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: CARRIE-RACHEL DEAN AND ZEKE STOKES - ONE NIGHT ONLY: A BIRTHDAY CABARET

One night only, on Monday, January 26th at 9:30 pm, Carrie-Rachel Dean and Zeke Stokes take the stage of THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) in New York City's famed West Village for a cabaret to celebrate their shared birthday and their conflicting musical tastes. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

For one night only, on Monday, January 26th at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551), The Cast of If/Then sings the songs of Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey. Performances are at 7:00 & 9:30 pm. Featuring the work of the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning songwriters of If/Then, Next to Normal and the upcoming The Visitor and starring the cast of If/Then, this special concert will feature some of Kitt & Yorkey's most popular songs, and some rarities, all presented in a surprising and unexpected one-night-only event. Featuring: Joe Cassidy, Jenn Colella, Marc delaCruz, Charles Hagerty, Janet Krupin, LaChanze, Tamika Lawrence, Megan Lewis, Tyler McGee, Anthony Rapp, Ryann Redmond, Gabrielle Ruiz, Ann Sanders, James Snyder, Alex Michael Stoll, Pearl Sun, and Jason Tam. NYC: SCOTT SIEGEL'S BROADWAY UNPLUGGED! AT THE TOWN HALL
EVENT CANCELLED FOR TONIGHT - POSTPONED TO MONDAY, JULY 20th at 8:00 PM

Broadway Unplugged, the critically acclaimed annual concert event at THE TOWN HALL (123 West 43rd Street, NYC - 212-997-1929), will make history once again when, on Monday, January 26th, when the stars of the recent revival of SIDE SHOW, Erin Davie & Emily Padgett, sing their famous two duets for the first time in a major concert hall without the aid of any amplification. Performing "Unplugged," audiences will hear these two iconic songs soar with a purity they have never heard before. They will be joined by their SIDE SHOW co-star, Ryan Silverman (Drama Desk Nominee for PASSION), and one of the stars of the original production of SIDE SHOW, Jeff McCarthy. Other great stars in the cast of Broadway Unplugged are Tony Award Winners Tonya Pinkins (Caroline or Change) and Chuck Cooper (The Life), plus Two-Time Tony Nominee Mary Testa, Tony Nominee Josh Young (Jesus Chris Superstar), Broadway Stars Ashley Brown (the original Mary Poppins on Broadway), Elizabeth Stanley (On The Town), Karen Mason (MAMMA MIA!) and William Michals (Emile de Beque in the Lincoln Center Production of South Pacific). Ticket prices at the same level they have been at since Unplugged began (with just a $2.00 fee tacked by The Town Hall). Tickets are $27, $52, $77.
