CABARET TONIGHT IN D.C.: THE KENNY WRIGHT EXPERIENCE
Bassist songwriter Kenny Wright leads a world class unit in 'The Kenny Wright Experience' at BLUES ALLEY (1073 Wisconsin Avenue NW, Washington, DC - 202-337-4141) on Wednesday, January 8th with shows at 8:00 & 10:00 pm. His group has been featured in concert with acts such as Roy Ayers, Buckwheat Zydeco, Glady's Knight, Natalie Cole, Kim Waters, Walter Beasley, Angela Bofills, Vickie Winans, The Whispers, The Stylistics, Tevin Campbel and others. As an independent producer Kenny has produced five solo CD's. As a bassist he has performed with, The Temptations Revue, The Supremes, Stevie Wonder, Bobbi Humphreys, Damon Harris, Michael White, Oscar Brown Jr, Richard Dimples Fields, Roger Collins, Curtis Pope and The Midnight Movers and others. Kenny currently plays a flamenco style of bass guitar that is completely original and quite unique. Call for cover/minimum information.
