CABARET TONIGHT IN TORONTO: YOUNG ARTIST SERIES PRESENTS SAM KOGEN
Sam Kogen, a fresh energetic member of the Toronto music scene, is featured this week atTHE JAZZ BISTRO (251 Victoria Street, Toronto, ONT, CA - 416-363-5299) on Tuesday through Saturday, November 6th through 9th a 6:00 pm as part of the Young Artist Series at the club. Growing up surrounded by music, Sam eventually accepted his passion and began to play music seriously in his late teens. During these years he had the honour of studying with some of his favourite piano players in the city, and now attends Humber College's Contemporary Music program where he is constantly surrounded by, and working with, many of his favourite musicians, both young and old. Sam performs regularly around the city with various groups in a variety of styles, primarily Jazz, R&B, Hip-Hop, and Fusion, as well as having many private students and teaching for Beyond the Beat studio. No cover charge.
