NYC: LISA YAEGER: IT MUST HAVE BEEN LOVE

Lisa Yaeger makes her cabaret debut with 'It Must Have Been Love' at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Monday, November 4th at 9:30 pm and Sunday, November 10th at 7:00 pm. She will present a heartfelt evening of song tracing Lisa's inspiring journey from musical theater to motherhood to the Metropolitan Room stage! Whether performing a playful standard from the Great American songbook, a contemporary broadway gem, or a poignant original ballad by her award-winning musical director Rick Jensen, Lisa's golden voice and genuine delivery are certain to charm audiences of all ages and musical tastes. A graduate of the Crane School of Music, Lisa is no stranger to the stage. With and acting career spanning over 15 years, she has performed numerous roles sharing the stage with a young Joe Jonas, and Eddie Mekka, and has toured the country with Nickalodeon. Lisa was featured on the 2012 Broadway Care album Carlos for a Cure along with Ricky Martin and Cyndi Lauper. Her voice can be heard on television jingles from PBS Kids to the Style Network. Most recently Lisa was a top 10 finalist in the 2013 Metro Star Challenge and has been seen throughout NYC singing at Don't Tell Mama, Helen's, The Laurie Beechman Theater and The Metropolitan Room. With direction by Lina Koutrakos and musical direction by Rick Jensen. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: BROADWAY ON 22ND STREET AT THE MET

The popular series Broadway On 22Nd Street returns to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Monday, November 4th at 7:00 pm. Performers featured are Nina Hennessy, Sarah Rice, Val Moranto, Suzanne Dressler and Bret Shuford. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: DINE & DANCE WITH VINCE GIORDANO AND THE NIGHTHAWKS - NOW AT THE IGUANA

Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks are back - and now will play every Monday & Tuesday night from 8:00 to 11:00 pm at at IGUANA'S VIP LOUNGE (240 West 54th Street, NYC - 212-765-5454). Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks is an eleven-piece band playing music of the 1920s & 30s for your dining and dancing pleasure. In 1976 Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks (originally known as the New Orleans Nighthawks) was formed. A big-band historian and collector, Giordano has more than 60,000 scores in his collection. There is a $15 cover (at the door) plus a $15 food drink minimum.

NYC: DARLING IN CONCERT AT 54 BELOW

'Darling' will be performed in Concert at54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Monday, November 4th with performances at 7:00 & 9:30 pm. This new musical staging is the second in the cabaret's continuing series, saluting the work of composer/ lyricist Ryan Scott Oliver. Set in 1929 Boston, Darling is a coming-of-age story about Ursula Morgan, stolen away from her upper-class family by a mysterious rentboy named Peter. Soon, Ursula finds herself in the seedy underground world of sex, drugs and jazz. With a book by Brett Ryback, Darling is produced in association with Kurt Deutsch and Sh-k-boom Records. Oliver, the recipient of both the Jonathan Larson Award as well as the Richard Rodgers Award for musical theatre, is one of New York's most prolific and exciting young musical artists. Performers include Andrea Ross - Ursula, Derek Klena - Peter, Nikki Snelson - Lilly, Leo Ash Evens, Max Chernin, Ben Garrett, Julia Mattison and Marissa O'Donnell. There is a $25-$35-$45 (depending on time) cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.

NYC: LATE NIGHT: THE CALLBACK: PRELIMINARIES

Join Emily McNamara and accompanist Benjamin Rauhala at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Monday night, November 4th at 11:30 pm for this season's next round of The Callback: Preliminaries. If selected to participate in the prelimary round, contestants will perform one 2-4 minute song on the 54 Below stage. Each performance will be filmed, and one winner will be deemed "Audience Favorite" by audience vote to progress to the semi-finals. Contestants who do not win in the preliminary round will have one chance at redemption; videos of all preliminary performances will be published on the 54 Below Facebook page within 24 hours of each event and the public will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite contestant. The contestant with the most "likes" on their Youtube video will be deemed the "Wildcard Semi-Finalist" and will also progress to semi-finals.
