NYC: "MARGOH! SINGS THE BOOZE" AT THE DUPLEX
Drag star MargOH! Channing is back atTHE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE(61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) with an all new show aptly titled "MargOH! Sings the Booze". Performances are Wednesday & Saturday, October 23rd & 26th, both shows at 9:30 pm. The evening is directed by Thom Fogarty with Musical Direction by Tracy Stark. The creative team that brought you MargOH!'s highly acclaimed show Tipsy invites you back to this brand new show as MargOH! explores the depths of her gin, vodka and tequila bottles through the power of song. MargOH! will be backed by her new musical director Tracy Stark and her glitter dipped sidekicks The MargOH!-tini's. Ms. Channing is also excited to have a special guest appearance by MAC Award nominee Tym Moss. MargOH! Sings the Booze includes original songs by composer Brian Feinstein and Diana Hansen Young (Mimi Le Duck) and sloshy standards made famous by Blossom Dearie, Cleo Laine, Charles Aznavour, Andy Williams and many more. NYC: PAUL KAPLAN RETURNS WITH 'LOST & FOUND'
Paul Kaplan returns to DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) with his show "Lost and Found." on Saturday, October 26th at 4:30 pm. The show includes songs and stories of what we LOSE or FIND along life's highway. Musical direction by Grammy-Nominated pianist, Dr. Joe Utterback, Direction by two-time MAC award winning, Linda Amiel Burns with up and coming talented Jesse Bielenberg on Bass. The show will feature songs by a wide variety of songwriters, Hoagy Carmichael, Bernstein/Comden and Green, Kander & Ebb, Rodgers and Hart, Sondheim, Charlap, Lerner and Loewe and others. There is a $12 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

This evening is presented in partnership with the Italian National Festival of Comic Song, DALLO SCIAMANO ALLO SHOWMAN (From the Shaman to the Showman) and the Centro Culturale Teatro Camuno in the Vallecamonica, Italy (a UNESCO site with prehistoric rock carvings), where the comic cabaret festival, televised on Italian National TV, is in its 11th year.
