NYC: 54 BELOW PRESENTS BACKSTAGE, HOSTED BY SUSIE MOSHER
54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) presents BACKSTAGE, Broadway's Tuesday night cocktail party/songfest, hosted by Susie Mosher at 10:30 pm. Musical Director Brad Simmons keeps the house jumping from the piano, while host Mosher guides the crowd through an evening of music, mayhem and full throttle belting. Special guests from hit Broadway shows drop in to perform. Members of the "Backstage repertory company", featuring some of New York's most exciting musical theatre talent, are on hand each week to sing everything from Schwartz to Sondheim. Special guest stars on November 20th include performances by two-time Tony Nominee Kevin Chamberlin (The Addams Family, Seussical - The Musical and Dirty Blonde), Broadway's favorite comedian Kevin Meaney, Naturi Naughton (currently on Lifetime TV's - "The Client List", NBC's "The Playboy Club" and from the films "Fame" and "Notorious") and from Phantom of the Opera and this season's on-again / off-again musical Rebecca, David Cameron Anderson. No cover charge, $15 food/drink minimum.
