BOS: CABARET GUEST ARTIST SERIES HOSTED BY JAN PETERS
ENCORE LOUNGE at THE COURTYARD MARRIOT (275 Tremont Street, Boston, MA - 617-728-2162) presents the Cabaret Guest Artist Series hosted by Jan Peters with Tom LaMark on piano. On Friday, November 23rd at 9:00 pm the show features Jennifer Antkowiak. Jennifer has been singing and acting for more years than she cares to admit. She grew up performing with her father in church choirs and musicals and listening to him hum out a bass line while teaching her to dance to Sinatra. She studied music in college and has continued to perform both musically and theatrically ever since. She can be seen in TV commercials, History Channel specials, independent films, on billboards, product packaging, the web and stage. But, her true love will always be singing; and the music of the Great American Songbook moves her more than any other genre. Jennifer performs regularly at Nick's and the MB Lounge in Worcester as well as other venues around the state. Dubbed Worcester's Siren of Song, Jennifer is in the planning stages of her first CD. The performance is followed by open mic. There is no cover charge.
